Ghana Global Alpha Training Feature

 

We traveled to Ghana to help empower and equip people in the towns and villages who want to know how Global Alpha Training (GAT) is an initiative where local churches go to nations to train other local churches in how to run the Alpha Course.

 

It’s been growing fast, and over the last 12 months teams from Australia, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Scotland and the rest of the UK, have gone to countries right across Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, Central and South America.

 

We also got to help out with different social action projects, including work with a prisons, and orphanages.

 

The Alpha course is a course which seeks to explore the basics of the Christian faith, described as “an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Alpha courses are currently being run in churches, homes, workplaces, prisons, universities and a wide variety of other locations. The course is being run around the world by all major Christian denominations.
